Hand washing bras....

Chimchar · 17/08/2016 21:33

Massive boobs. Loads of bra trouble.
Found one single style in bravissimo that fits. Have bought a few new bras. They are hand wash only. The label said so.

I ignored the label first time and buggered up my brand new fucking expensive bra.

So anyway. I am hand washing the others. I can't seem to get them really fresh...there are still deodorant sort of marks where they sit high under my arms. And they still smell...not sweaty, but of deodorant.

What am I doing wrong? Or what is the answer to this?

Any help much appreciated. Smile

Thanks again everyone.

The Ewa bras look great, but are very expensive (for me!)
The few I looked at too don't do a 30 back in a K cup.

Out of interest though, any advice on their sizing compared to Panache or Bravissimo as a rough guide?

Curvy Kate look good too...again, what are their sizes like?

are either of those brands stocked in stores anywhere, or are they mail order?,

The problem with Ewa Michalak was the cost of the returns.

I have never ever hand washed a bra in my life. They all go in the machine.

Curvy Kate I find true to size and the same with ewa (certain ewa cuts don't go up to bigger sizes but can search by drop down on the site)
Not sure where curvy Kate is stocked now TBH, might be worth checking their website for stockists. I generally buy off brastop because it's cheaper

You can buy new bras on eBay you know Grin I wouldn't buy secondhand ones! There are lots of shops on eBay selling brand new tagged bras- often end of line ones and so on. I can usually find my favourite panache tango bras brand new on there for £12 which is half the price on Bravissimo!

Curvy Kate was available in the Oxford Street Debenhams and John Lewis, plus the strapless one only in Bravissimo last time I checked (about a year ago, during a late pregnancy bust growth spurt emergency). They weren't available in our local stores though.

I probably don't have much useful to say on the size as they are the only ones I wear so I can't compare them against anything but I think Brastop, where I usually buy them had a good return policy that I was very pleased with, when I bought some nursing bras and decided that I couldn't cope without my underwires after trying them on and needing to hold them up with my hands too!
