Do I need to wash my hair for a bow dry?

I'm having a blow dry in the morning for a wedding (guest) and I don't know if I need to wash my hair or not? I've he plenty of wash, cut and blow drys but never just a blow dry. It's only just dawned on me and the appointment is at 9am so no time to call and ask.

Blow dry is usually wash first in a hair dresser

But at home I'm not sure

Thanks both, it's in a salon so I'm guessing they'll wash it there.
