I've found a REALLY amazing conditioner- just like the sort you get at the hairdresser's but cheaper!

My hair has never been so swishy unless I have been to the salon- it's Pantene Intense Hydration and it was either £5.99 or £6.99 in Boots I can't recall. It's a black tube.

My hair looks like it's been straightened but I've only blow dried it, it's amazing stuff.

Just thought I'd share Smile

If you've ever tried Redken Frizz Dismiss, it feels similar.

Nice one!
I'll grab one when I next go to boots.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/08/2016 21:03

Go easy with it, you don't need much.

Thanks Dame I'm always after tips on nice shampoos and conditioners. Pantene used to have a bad reputation as covering hair with Silicone - is the conditioner different?

wobblywonderwoman · 10/08/2016 21:07

Oh lovely. Thanks dame. I bought the fibrology mask but its leaves a film

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/08/2016 21:08

I need silicone, my hair is shit otherwiseGrin

Hair still looks great today even after sleeping on it!

I remember my boss when I worked in a salon years ago have a clients hair smoke while in the chair.

The silicone on the Pantene was burning. Ever since then the word scares me !

(Oh while it was being coloured - sorry)

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/08/2016 15:09

I think they changed the formula, I do remember something being in the paper about that too, so must've been a thingGrin

ThymeForTea · 11/08/2016 15:20

Oh did they! That's good. I've just avoided it ever since.

And defo a thing, I saw it with my eyes Grin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/08/2016 15:21

I'll double check with my hair dresser next week when I go for a cut but they can't possibly still have problems, no one would use it!!

Anyway, it's fab, my hair looks fantasticGrin

I think for me, it's worth it to try and repair hair from the inside, if you know what I mean.

Even expensive hair care can still just cover up problems instead of remedying them if that makes sense.

So I'm not being a weird snob (I do sound like one - plus I'm a hairdresser )

Queenbean · 11/08/2016 15:34

Do Pantene still test on animals?

If so, step away kids

derektheladyhamster · 11/08/2016 15:35

I love the shampoo in the same range - I must try the conditioner too!

Rockelburger · 11/08/2016 15:37

This sounds great. Where did you buy it from? I can't find on ocado or eBay - my usual go to places for purchases!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/08/2016 15:38

I got it from Boots.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/08/2016 15:41

My hair is troublesome as it's got a very determined wave to it which looks awful so I have to blow dry it straight. A good conditioner is key ime to stop the kink and friziness. This is best I've found other than at the hair dressers.

OP posts:
TheSpottedZebra · 11/08/2016 15:42

How can you repair hair from the inside? It's dead, isn't it? The outsidey bits I mean.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/08/2016 15:44

My hair doesn't need repairing anyway just needs a good conditioner to weigh it down and make it behaveGrin

OP posts:
ThymeForTea · 11/08/2016 15:49

Yes sorry very dead Grin. I guess I mean good diet and not over colouring but I avoided that because it sounded a bit preachy, it's not the reason OP has problem hair as she has elaborated and I thought I sounded twatty anyway BlushGrin
