Have just been to Clarks for school shoes for ds4 and hated every pair!

Came home and looked on the website too and all the boys school shoes are awful!! Clumpy and hideous!! Where else can I get somethings vaguely nice?

I don't think there is such a thing as nice school shoes.

The pint of school shoes isn't that they're nice, it's that they're black, comfortable and hardwearing.

Have you looked at Startrite Ricosta Jones, - do you have an independent shoe shop near you?

Ricosta are my favourite for my boys, timo or tamo styles. They last a year, my older two boys are only one size apart so if they grow during the school year I only need to buy one new pair.
