Hearts and Roses Dress - How much do they stretch???

I have just bought a Hearts and Roses London dress and I'm just a bit worried it's a bit snug and wondering if it will give slightly or will it always feel like it's a bit tight? If I know that it will stretch slightly then that would make me more confident in keeping it. I think I was seduced by the print.

They only had a 12 and then a 16, so I bought the 12. I have a 1950's party to go to this weekend and I picked it up in a local shop to save me ordering last minute.

Does anyone have any experience of them and their their fit?

In my experience they're tiny with no give.

I had three and ended up ebaying them all. Of course it will depend on the material/fit of the individual dress.

Thanks this that's my worry, bought it for a party this weekend but opted for a simple shape so that I could get more wear out of it but I fear every time I put it on it will feel snug and I will take it off again!
