I am always looking on line, warehouse, autograph, massimo dutti........ Occasionally I see something I like. I never wear patterns, or very rarely. Like, an edge could be patterned, but not the whole garment.

I find monsoon too 'peasant'
I find phase eight the same every season
I find mint velvet great for jeans but all their tops are mumsy and grey (jmo)
I find fatface too casual

Any suggestions?! What other brands am I forgetting?

Outlet stores instead? MacArthur glen have those stores

I find Oasis too fond of polyester
I find jigsaw too expensive (but nice) and ditto, max mara for weekend, Whistles.

I suspect I need more money.....

Yes, I must try and get out to a shopping village place that is about 70 mins away.

Get the brands you do like second hand from eBay?
I check often obsessively every day for clothes in my size from my fave brands and have got some lovely bargains.

Banana Republic for work stuff , Fever for vintage style dresses. Sea Salt for casual. None particularly cheap. I try to buy quality over quantity.

eBay!

DianaT1969 · 01/08/2016 22:19

Cos sale.
I'm not keen on the quality of fabric/stitching in Banana Republic. Although my longest-lasting and favourite bag was from there.
