I have a skirt similar to this one here but maybe a little more layered/puffy (very 1930s housewife!)

I have no idea what shoes go. Any advice? thanks

Knee high boots if you have them. V nice.

TeeCee · 27/01/2007 08:52

I'd say boots, or flat ballet style pumps.

TeeCee · 27/01/2007 08:56

Oh my God, while trying to find a classic pump for you I found these. Check how uncomfy they are - a "classic" pump apparently

DimpledThighs · 27/01/2007 08:57

boots or flat shoes (oh - just said what everyone else did - great help )

itsmeNDP · 27/01/2007 08:58

Grim

'Pumps' in the US are what we call court shoes

TeeCee · 27/01/2007 08:59

Camper do good flats

brimfull · 27/01/2007 09:03

brimfull · 27/01/2007 09:20

I love those boden ones teecee,but £79

DimpledThighs · 27/01/2007 09:25

I agree - nice shoes but £80!!!!!

Emily - that skirt will be really versatile though - I have simliar and o opaque tights and boots in winter and sandals in summer.

Works a treat.

I didn't see it but glad you got it. I have other stuff that might help too if you need it - letters etc.

emily05 · 28/01/2007 15:45

Thanks for the advice and the links. Really really helped. I took the advice - I brought a pair of 'pumps' (look like ballet shoes) from clarks. They are soooo comfortable!

Thanks guys - I really appreciate all the tips. x
