best quick dry spray or top coat polish for nail polish?

OK having managed to smudge bright pink nail polish on the kitchen table for the umpteenth time I want to get my daughter some quick dry spray or top coat quick polish. Reviews for various versions seem to be very contradictory on amazon so does anyone use a product that works to dry nail polish quickly? Thanks very much.

The Sally Hansen quick dry top coat is absolutely brilliant - dries in under a minute and lasts over a week on me!

Onynx · 24/07/2016 23:12

It's the one in the red bottle btw.

Seche vite wins for me. You can get it on Amazon for about £6. Second best is Kensington caviar top coat by nails inc. Much more expensive though. Xx

Watching as I'd like to know too!

Is it you just want the nails to dry quickly? If so just run the freshly painted nails under the cold tap. Instantly sets the nail polish.

Seche Vite

Seche Vite x a million. I stopped using it when I was pregnant and tried every alternative, but nothing comes close. I agree with a pp that the Nails Inc Kensington caviar one is the next best thing, but it's still a long way off SV.

Seche Vite definitely. I have a Sally Hansen spray but it doesn't dry my nails anywhere near as quickly as Seche Vite. You wouldn't think a top coat would dry so fast but it really does. And my polish lasts for ages too. It grows out rather than chips.

SesameSparkle · 25/07/2016 08:50

Another vote here for the Sally Hansen insta dry top coat. It's just like Seche Vite but it's cheaper, doesn't contain formaldehyde and doesn't cause shrinkage.

fauxhito · 25/07/2016 10:35

I have the revlon quick dry one and really like it

luckylavender · 25/07/2016 13:54

Definitely Seche Vite - you can sometimes get it cheap in TK Makk. And the Nails Inc caviar one as a back up, which isn't too pricey when bought in a pack of two in Boots (with the bottom coat)

Botanicbaby · 25/07/2016 16:41

Another vote for seche vite. I got it from boots for £10 I think?

I'm clumsy & forever smudging nails & this doesn't budge. Best Buy ever.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 25/07/2016 16:51

No 7 top coat. 2 coats of polish, don't let it dry in between then a coat of no 7 and it'll be rock hard in seconds. Fab stuff.

Innermagic · 25/07/2016 16:55

Seche vite helps nails dry in seconds if you have a Sally hair and beauty place near your they sell miniature bottles of it so let's you try without breaking the bank.

bigkidsdidit · 25/07/2016 17:04

Seche vite comes off my nails in sheets.

I love the rimmel gel - varnish and top coat but I'm on day 6 with no chips!

Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Spray. It's cheap and works.

hecallsmebunny · 25/07/2016 20:10

Another vote for Sally Hansen Insta-dri top coat (red bottle). Dries the polish really quickly and makes it last longer

bigkidsdidit · 25/07/2016 20:18

I thought I did euphemia but I'm pretty slow Grin

sooperdooper · 25/07/2016 20:22

I've got the Avon quick dry spray and it's absolutely brilliant
