Define 'gorgeous' - colours, what style hat? Lands End has warm hats etc, but not sure I'd describe them as 'gorgeous'.

JackieNo · 25/01/2007 11:55

do accessorize have online shop?
v nice hats adns carves

franch · 25/01/2007 11:56

Hi Jackie Needs to go with a black coat so not brown ... Something that'll come down over my ears but not just a plain wooly hat, I dunno, something nice! (See my comments on Next below ...)

The lands end thermacheck ones aren't too bad tho actually

Ceolas Next seems to have moved on to summer - the Chocolate Crochet Flower Beanie Hat And Pull Through Scarf Set (118-420-X39) is nice but it's cotton and the wrong colour...

Brora have a sale on now too (cashmere balaclava, anyone?).

MrsBadger · 25/01/2007 12:07

oh, Toast - they've even got a sale on.

and Plümo have some lovely stuff.

franch · 25/01/2007 15:32

Grr - I love the Pure chunky hat , but can't spend £53!

The Brora fairisle beret is nice but is sold out ...

Plumo (what a fab site - hadn't come across it before) have only a couple of hats - don't like the stripey one; the baker boy one's nice but sold out and wouldn't cover my ears anyway ...

Finding the Toast website hard work ...

OP posts:
Ceolas · 25/01/2007 15:41

Do you mean this sort of coming over your ears?

franch · 25/01/2007 15:44

Noooooo! No ear flaps, or bobbles on top

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 25/01/2007 15:46

The Toast website is a royal pain, but their beret is only £5...

franch · 25/01/2007 15:50

It's a useless photo tho MrsB, and they don't even say what colour it is!

Still a few hats at M&S

franch · 25/01/2007 15:52

Getting desperate ... might just get a land's end one, they're not exciting but are simple and good value ... one of the bucket ones I think, not sure if they'll come down over my ears but hey ...

OP posts:
franch · 25/01/2007 15:54

He hee, I like this one!

OP posts:
franch · 25/01/2007 15:55

You have thrown me now Ceolas - I think some of the M&S ones are pretty good - would have to try them on tho really

OP posts:
franch · 25/01/2007 16:22

OK, have ordered this in cranberry - I'm not excited by it but it's good value and I already have red leather gloves, so it'll keep me cosy till I can find something I'm thrilled by ...

Thanks all of you!
