Your most versatile nail polish?

If you could only wear one of your nail polishes all the time, to go with everything you wear, which one would it be?
My choice would be Chanel Ballerina.

Dior Nail Glow

Rouge noir or a decent dupe. If I get a shellac in that kind of colour I don't have to worry as it looks good with anything I wear.

I am a fan of Tickle My Francey or a similar nude mushroomy pink too.

Barry M Gelly 'Black Cherry'. Love it.

Nails Inc, one of the Victoria Beckham ones. The pale pink.

Can't remember the name but it's described as 'bone'. I love it.

Essie: Chinchilly

The only colour I wear on my finger nails

Dive Bar by Essie, gorgeous blackened teal.

I always have the Cityscape on my toes - hate the usual bright reds, corals, pinks.

Orly in Beverly Hills Plum.

It's a glossy good quality pinky clear colour & makes my nails look in good condition & still not quite bare. Goes, without saying, with everything!

Nails inc porchester square is lovely. Goes with everything and makes me feel a bit more "polished"

Avon metallic effects in copper.
It's textured too so touch ups work well and aren't noticeable :)

my most recent gel. all i know is it is bluesky and i would be happy with it on always.

Models Own Beth's Blue. It's a pale blue/lilac creme.

Rimmel's Caramel Cupcake. Lasts for ages and is a lovely neutral.

Interested to see lots of Chanel recommendations - I love the colours but whenever I've bought them before the quality and duration have been terrible. Has it improved?

Curse you lot! I think Chanel Ballerina will be my air port duty free treat in August!

Actually pepe, though I do buy Chanel sometimes for the colours I still don't think the texture is as good as Essie's.

Just wondered if anyone would recommend the Essie gel polish? Does it last?
