I've been following the "wear everything in your wardrobe to see if you still like it" thread and got caught up in the link to wardrobe mistress' insta - I love seeing what real people who are interested in clothes are wearing everyday so anyone interested in posting pics in here?

bananachew What brand is the navy tunic/dress you got in the charity shop? It is the kind of thing I am always on the look out for.

Sitting in garden wearing Next jeggings and White Stuff striped T and some Ecco trainers. The epitome of style - not! I am actually too hot but the dog needs walked and I have to wear long trousers to avoid the nettle stings. Oh to have a glam life involving dresses and jewelled sandals!

Off to walk the dog and hopefully catch some sun on these terrible pasty legs. Not the most fashionable of dresses but needed in this heat

misspym it's a good one, isn't it? Alas, I got home, googled the designer gleefully and then my face fell when I realised I was, in fact, sportino maternity wear. My mother and I fell about laughing!! But I love it and I don't even care so I wear it anyway! The designer is Veronique dela Chaux, but I'm guessing it is moot now 😂

Hot here today, but Scotland so not as hot as some of you. The kids are already off school and we're heading down to the beach for a splash and probably twenty quid's worth of ice cream

Today the legs are OUT. H&M stretchy shorts (which I own in three colours!), h&m sleeveless blouse, h&m necklace....yikes. Zara sandals.

To the PO who said I looked stylish - I have been working very hard to build up a capsule wardrobe of things which flatter and also go with other things. It's nearly there and it has made such a difference. I threw out all my bags and bought two lovely ones which I love and use all the time. I am becoming ruthless! I started a hanger system (40 normal hangers, 15 trouser/skirt hangers). It's all I'm allowed. If I want to buy something and there isn't a spare hanger, I have to get rid of something else. It has made me very careful about what I keep, and what I buy.

Sadly whilst I am whittling down everything in my life, I am still trying to smuggle my husband's baggy and hole-ridden boxers out in the middle of the night, like contraband. Sigh.

Tomorrow 90% of my clothes go on a ship to next be seen mid September. I have two suitcases and a bit if air freight to see out the next few weeks which includes more work, boat/beach hols, starting a new job and a business trip. I've got a sweat on just thinking about it all.

It was blinking hot here today. Went to the beach.

Not cool here today! Luckily just having a day of pottering in the garden so sporting a slightly see through Free People play suit. I'll spare you a photo, but I'm bloody comfortable.

Raining when I left this morning so wore boots. Big mistake- bloody roasting!!

Basic charcoal T layered over white vest. Fave skinnies. H&M necklace. Dark brown leather ankle boots (99p on ebay - so chuffed with these). Skinnies turned up just enough to create an inch of ankle flash haha.

Bargain boots, Banana, but maybe not the best footwear for today!

Melting again here; wearing a very old F&F light cotton wrap dress which gets dragged out every summer.

I reckon every single bit of clothing I own would fit in one suitcase. Footwear too!

Banana I'm totally stealing your coat hanger idea. I've recently moved house and culled a lot of stuff in my wardrobe, and would like it to stay as organised/minimal as it is now.
