Hair straightening brushes - are they any good?

My dd is after a hair straightening brush for her birthday as she thinks this will be easier to use than normal straighteners. Has anyone got one? Are they any good?

There are several available to buy on amazon for around £30, but none are brands I have heard of and many of the reviews are from people who received a discount in return for a review so I am not sure how much to trust them.

Any views appreciated.

I tried one and wasn't impressed. I've got thick, frizzy hair and the brush straightened my hair but didn't deal with frizz or give it shape in the way that hairdryer and straighteners do. I got mine from Amazon for about £30. I can't remember the brand, but it was pink. It was definitely quicker than using a hairdryer but I looked a mess do not worth it imo.
