L'Oréal firbology. My hair feels weird. Anyone else?

My hair feels not greasy but maybe like it's not rinsed properly, like it has a residue in it.
I am rinsing properly and I'm on to my 10th use of the shampoo and conditioner. I.started noticing the weirdness after use 8.
Anyone else has this?

I tried it once and really hated it. Felt like I had a load of product in my hair. Clarifying shampoo will make it feel normal again.

I love Fibrology but the ingredients that thicken the hair do eventually lead to a build up of product. A wash with Vosene will set you right.

Thickening shampoos and conditioners like fibrology use synthetic polymers which coat the hair each hair strand to make your hair look thicker. This can cause horrible build up in your hair. I had the same experience with that range.
I agree a good clarifying shampoo such as Tresemme deep cleanse or Pantene clarifying is needed to strip it out.

If you really like the Fibrology range, you can still use it but alternating with other shampoos to avoid build up seems to help.

I'll get some with the shopping. It was two bottles for £3 so not the end of the world although now I think about it DDs hair has been almost sticky and hard to brush.

My hair doesn't look bad so it's not awful stuff really. I might alternate that's a good tip. Thanks all.

I think you are supposed to use a clarifying shampoo once a week or something when you are using Fibrology or similar shampoos. I remember reading a Sali Hughes column about it once. If you enjoy the thickening properties then maybe alternate it with a more clarifying shampoo. Or use something like Redken Cleansing Cream once a week. It is INCREDIBLE for removing product build up and hard water deposits.

Redken stuff sounds good. My daughter will really need immediate clarification its made hers so notty.

Yes yes yes! Wondered why this was but mine feels nasty. Like I need a translucent blue or green chemically smelling shampoo to clean it down!

Honestly get the Redken one. It's cheapest online eg Look Fantastic website. I tried every clarifying shampoo in existence when I had crazy hormonal waxy greasy hair while breastfeeding. It was miles better than any of the others. First time you use it leave it on for 5 mins before rinsing to really tackle the build up. After a couple of washes you will have the swishiest hair ever.

Just get Vosene. It doesn't say 'clarifying shampoo' on the bottle and it only costs £2 but it's the best.

Yes- tried it for a couple of washes then binned it as I hated the effect it had on my fine hair. It didn't feel any thicker, just sticky, nasty and not clean. I don't mind the conditioner though.
