Advice please - Shoes and Best fake tan moisturiser for Celtic skin?!

I've got a week until a special meal and suddenly started thinking maybe it would be nice to look my best at it...

I will have decent nails and I have a dress. I just need some black shoes and my legs to be less dazzlingly white!!!

Has anyone seen any nice black shoes? My dress is fairly short so I need a heel but my trusty black heels are a bit corporate. I like the idea of shoe boot things but feel I might look like a twat.

And if anyone can recommend how to take the edge off my legs I would be extremely grateful. I'm pale and freckly so I don't want to go silly and turn orange. Just that next to my black dress they look illuminous.
