What colours go with brown leopard print?

I've got a brown leopard print skirt but nor sure what colour to wear with it other than black... any ideas? I can't find a black top that looks ok!

I am showing my age here, I like one item of leopard at a time (no Double Animal, worse than Double Denim, and no Mixed Animal IMO ).

I have a couple of leopard tops, one has beige/black, one has beige/black/chocolate. I wear with all black or black/chocolate.

I admire much about Caitlin Moran but don't want to take her as a style guide.

I agree that it's only a neutral in small doses, eg leopard shoes go with a lot of things (particularly the grey sort that I prefer to the yellow-y.)Tops and skirts aren't, IMO and are better paired with clothes that are. But perhaps that's just boring.

A friend of mine once went out wearing four different types of leopard print and looked FAB. Green leopard print cardigan, pink leopard print scarf, white tunic with neon leopard print pattern and navy trainers with brown leopard print on the sides. Sounds demented but looked fantastic. Not a hint of Liz McDonald

I would wear it with either beige short sleeves top, a jeans shirt of which I found examples below. Or I imagine it quite well with a bright pink top.

I may have to try all these options apart from brown - brown leopard print is my limit with brown clothing. Loving the bright colour suggestions though I'm very blonde so not hard to look Liz Mcdonald!!!
