Planning what to take for 4 full days (and two half days) in a major European city at the end of July.
Have decided on capri length jeans and stripy tops for the days, capri length leggings and a couple of slightly more dressy tunic tops/short dresses for the evenings (when I will probably be meeting local friends and sitting outside cafes watching the world go by).
I'm definitely taking white lo-top Converse-alikes and white Birki type toe-post sandals, both of which I know I find very comfortable for the amount of walking I'll be doing. I'm umming and ahing about taking a third pair of slightly more dressy shoes (maybe wedge-heeled sandals) for the evenings but does three pairs sound excessive for a long weekend? Is there a substitute for one of the first two pairs that would be a bit smarter without sacrificing comfort? I can take 20kg of luggage (and obviously will be wearing one pair of shoes at any given time) but I like the idea of streamlining things as much as possible...
