Help! First date outfit. Blind panic!!

Please can you lovely people help me with some style advice?

I have a first date, next Saturday (yes, I know, I've left plenty of time) and this'll be my first date in over 10 years! What the hell do I wear??

We are going to a boxing match but on a corporate table...I've been told to wear smart/casual but warm. What the heck does that even mean these days

Well there's a valid reason for the date venue, there's dinner involved and we are going on somewhere else afterwards so I'm fine and happy with it. It'll give us something else to talk about too hopefully.

Anyway, back to the clothes, I ordered those 2 tops from ASOS, both arrived today and the both look awful so back to the drawing board...

OP - sorry about the tops - I find ASOS personally very hit and miss (but I think one was Vero Moda which normally is quite good).

I think the jumpsuit (can you get out to try it on?) is quite a good option - I wouldn't worry too much about pulling it up and down etc as long as you're careful there shouldn't be much spilling of fabric on toilet floors.

Can you get to a shopping centre with a Zara/Massimo Dutti and COS? Good starting points. Bound to find something in Zara at least.
