off the shoulder tops for big bust, yes or no?

So off the shoulder tops are trendy and I'd quite like one, BUT, I am a 28FF/30G bust and strapless bras all day every day can be painful (actually the one I got from Bravissimo is ok), so could I/should I? Not this top necessarily...

By the way, I also have a nice shoulder area and long neck, so I 'think' I'd suit off shoulder tops...

The problem with that top is not the neckline but where the sleeve ends - you'd be better off with something with either a lot less flounce which will just accentuate the boobs or a longer sleeve. There's nothing wrong with delicate or pretty straps showing, and most bravissimo bras have OK straps.

Greengoth that's not the top I'm planning on wearing just an example!

You're right though I can get a nice coloured bra with a delicate strap thanks!

I have the Boden ruched off shoulder top, am 30FF, and it looks fabulous. I don't think it would work with visible bra staps though, would ruin the effect.
Have you tried the Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless? I would not wear it all day every day, but you are probably not planning to wear off shoulder tops exlusively?

For me, and I'm pretty darn busty, I steer clear of off TWO shoulder tops - they make me feel too much like a 1970's milkmaid. However, I am a great fan of a slightly over-size top (ideally in a luxury fabric), which falls off one shoulder at a time.

Also (and I know this is not the top) when I'm wearing tops where there is skin showing (arms, shoulder, decollete) I avoid flesh tones, as they make me look frumpier than I'd like.

Each to their own, though - wear whatever makes you feel comfy.

I actually sometimes wear the Boden ruched off shoulder top with visible (nice) bra straps, I think it looks pretty good.
