Any opinions on this range and is there anything nice there at the moment?

The kids clothes are generally very good although sometimes sizing can be a bit odd Hmm

I buy quite a bit of work wear from Tu and it's hit and miss. I don't find the stuff I've bought recently washes that well. Have had some work tops fade quite quickly and a pair of black slim fit jeans which literally faded to grey within 2 washes - annoying!

According to the checkout person I spoke to the other day they have tonnes of summer stock going into sale over the next weeks!

CodewordRochambeau · 29/06/2016 19:46

The Gok skinny jeans are excellent.

JimmyGreavesMoustache · 29/06/2016 19:54

I have got a couple of really decent work blouse/shirt things there - colleagues assumed they were White Co

I've not tried their jeans, but will now given all the recommendations.

EBearhug · 29/06/2016 21:45

The colours they've got in currently just aren't me at all, but I've had a lot from there over the last few years. Currently wearing some cotton trousers from there. They do have some synthetic stuff, but I've always been able to get things that aren't.

Hoppinggreen · 29/06/2016 22:10

Most of my jeans are from there, I've spent a fortune on other jeans but these just seem to fit me so well.

TrixieBernadette · 29/06/2016 22:32

Love sainsburys for work stuff. I wear a lot of floaty shirts with pencil skirts and theirs always wash well and dress well. I'm often in there having a nosey at the sale rails (got three pairs of trousers for £20 last week and a slouchy Cardi for £4) and am planning a wee wander tomorrow in between work and kids Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 30/06/2016 09:37

I live in Tu clothing, and so do the DC! My latest purchase is 2 pairs of denim Bermuda shorts.

ExConstance · 30/06/2016 13:03

My much admired jersey long sleeve skater dress was under £5 from the Sainsburys reduced rail

CrazyDuchess · 30/06/2016 17:18

I just love their reduced rail... I can always find something to buy Grin

TanTanNubuck · 30/06/2016 17:25

I'm another who hasn't seen anything I like this season but quality has always been very good.
When they first launched online ordering for TU I got two gorgeous summer dresses for £20, both very good quality 100% cotton. They've both been worn and washed loads of times and still looking great.

BigcatLittlecat · 30/06/2016 18:03

I love most of the tu range! Wash well and fit well.
I did have my best ever bargain there! There was a pair of denim shorts on the sale rale price £4 reduced from £16. Went to til and they can up as a £1. It was during a 25% off event so I paid 75p for them! Bargain! I have worn them loads!

Truckingalong · 14/08/2016 16:55

I've just spent £150 in there.....and I never spend money on clothes! There's so many nice things in. Gorgeous PJs - miles nicer than anywhere else at the mo. Fabulous shoes and the best slouch wear I've ever come across. Am well impressed (and much poorer now!).

BabyGanoush · 14/08/2016 17:04

I bought a t shirt 5 years ago from Tu

Still nice, it was big (bought a 10, am normally 12/14).

Always plan to go back but feel overwhelmed by rails of polyester and leggings Confused

Must try again

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/08/2016 17:10

After recs on here, I bought two lovely cotton sundresses this year. Went in last week though and didn't see a single thing that I liked. Lots of dodgy fabrics and even dodgier colours.

lifesuckssometimes · 14/08/2016 17:21

Apparently they are adding more sale stock on Tuesday. Plus 25% off everything starts 23rd August.

I buy loads in there. Hate spending too much on clothes. Sizing varies. Have ever had compliments from a friend who only nuts designer. Obviously not interested when I said where from though.

Bought a top thus morning, Gok range, half price £9. Can't go wrong.

puppydogmummy · 14/08/2016 17:51

Love TU! Can't wait for Autumn range to come in

DropZoneOne · 14/08/2016 17:58

I like the TU stuff, I find the tops come up quite big on me so I don't get as much as I'd like. It washes and wears well though. I watch out for 25% off, which come round fairly frequently, making it good value.

DelicatePreciousThing1 · 14/08/2016 19:55

I have bought the odd thing but I find it uninspiring. The colours are crazy and there is hardly anything that is made of cotton or wool. Too much stretchy stuff.
Would also hate anyone to identify it as being from a supermarket.

Truckingalong · 14/08/2016 21:15

Why delicate? Does it really matter? I'm a senior manager in a global company, I earn good money and have to look the part but nothing gives me more pleasure than when someone says, oooooo, I love your shoes and I can say, £8, Asda!!! Who cares a fig where clothes are from. You just have to choose carefully.

Oldraver · 15/08/2016 23:39

I generally love their stuff but have had a couple of pieces that have been cut badly and the sizing is odd. I have the skinny jeans and had to go down to a 14 no way I'm that size. Two recent dresses I had an 18, one I had to take in a bit as the patter n on the fabric was way off. Another dress fit but was cut oddly across the chest above the bust and was tight so sized up to a 20. Its still odd across the chest and big elsewhere with armholes that come to the waist

OttoTheOnly · 16/08/2016 02:03

I got a lovely summer dress in there a couple of months ago in the sale. White cotton, with a thin blue and yellow stripe. Really lovely and flattering on.

lurkingfromhome · 16/08/2016 09:29

I have to say I hate most of it and find a lot of it quite frumpy with awful prints. HOWEVER, my all-time favourite dress that I have ever owned came from there, and cost £2 in the final dregs of the sale. It was so stylish, well-cut, amazing fabric and looked like it cost ££££££. Also, there is nowhere better for white skinnies - I just stocked up a week or two ago as they are all £7 in the sale. Great fit, great fabric. So now I spend quite a bit of time rummaging through the racks as there are some jewels to be had, that's for sure.

bcb1999 · 20/02/2017 02:11

I bought a Tu swimsuit in the US. I'm assuming that because there is only one size on the internal tag that it is the UK Size. Many Boden garments only have the UK size listed, but I just want to be sure. Does anyone have any insight?

Thank you,

Brooks

Floisme · 20/02/2017 09:52

Surprised to hear the quality is so highly rated as that was why I stopped buying Tu. I found some of it became unwearable after only a couple of washes so, although it was cheap, the cost per wear was high and it just felt really wasteful.

However my husband, who's a fussy bugger, still buys loads of stuff there and says it washes well. I've noticed that a lot of the men's ranges are pure cotton whereas the women's wear is mostly synthetic city, which seriously pisses me off and doesn't make me feel inclined to try them again.

MinesaPinot · 21/02/2017 14:09

I popped in on Sunday and got some jeans - dark indigo skinnies - they were £14 but only £10.50 with the 25% off. I wanted a cheap pair as I am trying to lose some weight and didn't want to spend £45 like I usually do in GAP. I am very impressed, good stretch and fit and very comfortable. Remains to be seen how they wash etc, but liking them very much at the mo. The rest of the stuff was a bit meh to be honest, but then we were in the one near my mum which isn't as good as ours which is HUGE spends hours round clothes before even looking at food
