I want to dye dad's hair purple...

But with something semi perm which will fade. I promised her last year I would do it and failed. I want to do it at the start of the holidays.
She has dark blonde untreated hair which is halfway down her back. She's nearly 7 - can anyone recommend something suitable to use?

Have you a Sally's near you? They would be good to ask.

Have you seen those hair crayons? Might have a good impact on blonde hair.

You can 'dilute' the colors with conditioner to get a pastel effect

You want either Directions or manic panic hair dye, which you can get on eBay. Mix it with conditioner to get the pastel effect.
