Replacing heels with flats?

I've been having various problems with my feet and think that I may be coming the the point where I can no longer wear heels. I know the solution to this problem is 'wear flat shoes', but my wardrobe is built around below-the-knee pencil skirts and fitted dresses that look office-appropriately-slightly-sexy with heels but 100% frumpy with flats. Does anyone know of flats that look good with fitted skirts? Or a seriously comfortable brand/style of heels that won't kill my feet?

Tan moccasins? I think they are cute and go with everything. I alternate between these and Converse with my work dresses and pencil skirts. (I hate heels and i think they look a a bit try hard. Flats are much better IMO).

Something like this?

Pointy flats or ballet pumps in the summer. It's a bit easier in the winter, as opaque tights lend themselves to slightly chunkier flats.

That's what my stylish Swedish friend wears Petal, and look good.

Well, I have ordered 5 pairs of shoes (ssshhh, don't tell DH) and am hoping that at least one or two of them work - I got two pairs of pointy flats, one pair of kitten heels, one pair of standard ballet flats, and one pair of very pointy loafers (thanks to whoever posted the En Brogue link as they had some great inspiration). Will see how I get on!

Another thank you for the en brogue web link. I just love the 'odd' socks they link to, too. Thank you.
