Have been looking for about 3 years.

they need to be clumpy but not too clumpy. Buckles or zips, but not too many.

Gorgeous in short.

How about these or these ?

JackieNo · 18/01/2007 16:52

Or check out some actual bikers' boots ? Particularly the delightfully named Grinders or these ones ?

ediemay · 18/01/2007 16:58

are you in London? Try R Soles on the King's Road in Chelsea. I joke not about the name!

JackieNo · 18/01/2007 17:06

These are nice, imo.

Heathcliffscathy · 18/01/2007 17:58

really like those jackieno.

only trouble is, i can't tell how heavy the soles are (want them heavy) not how round the toe (want them round).

is there somewhere that sells those offline?

Don't think vivaladiva have RL shops, sorry. You could ring them, no idea how helpful they'd be though.

JackieNo · 18/01/2007 21:38

But hopefully MrsBadger will spot this thread and come up with something.

Bink · 18/01/2007 21:38

I saw some that I thought were nice in the window of, er, Russell & Bromley - quite pared down, just one wee buckle, the other end of the scale from sparkly's dramatic soles. No pictures on web, unfortunately.

Also seem to remember them being sensible price, £59? - but that may be wishful.

And that they would look good on little feet.

KezzaG · 18/01/2007 21:40

you could check their returns policy and order them and send back if they are no good.

Heathcliffscathy · 19/01/2007 09:20

is mrsbadger a biker boot expert???

will check russel and bromley definitely

x

Saw them again this morning - was tempted myself, though I do not have neat little feet.

They're £56, not £59; and there's another similar style with a cuff of fake fur which is sweet, and £53. They look they're meant to be functional, outdoor & weatherproof, so it's possible they aren't leather. Which is fine by me but depends what you're after?

JackieNo · 19/01/2007 09:58

Not sure about MrsBadger being a biker boot expert, but she's an all-round style expert, so would probably know where to try. The Russell and Bromley ones sound good - good price.

tamum · 19/01/2007 10:04

I've got these which I lurve. Not sure if they're biker-y enough though? There are black ones too.

bootsmonkey · 19/01/2007 10:10

I have these which are very nice an comfy - unfortunately they were £90 when I bought them!! Very good quality, highly recommend them:
