If you're short and fat, what trousers do you wear for work?

Just that really. Going from a job where I can wear jeans and trousers to an admin position so need to look relatively smart. I'm a size 18 and only have a 29 inch leg. Any ideas?

Don't laugh but have a look at Eastex trousers. Made for the shorter woman. Not cheap but I tend to get mine in the sale. They wash and wear really well. And last for years.

I used to find Monsoon pretty good for this, but I haven't shopped there in a year or so.

Matalan is your friend. Cheap, last ages, loads of different styles and start in a 27" leg.

I get mine from Marisota (website).

Dorothy Perkins short length or some good ones from Debenhams. Catalan is also good.

A second vote for Marisota from a 5'2" fat apple shape. Currently wearing their linen mix elasticated back and they're the best I've found.
