I would be heart broken if I ruined them ...... but after a very active week in Cornwall, they're really grubby. I think you can remove the insoles, should i do this prior to washing?

I have washed mine a couple of times as they got really stinky, they survived (on a gentle wash only) but have faded quite a bit.

Yep, I've washed mine a couple of times. Put them in a little bag and gentle cycle and the came out well.

And did you take out the insoles? The insoles I'm referring to came with the Skechers, they're not ones that I added myself.

I did twice, put them in a pillowcase first though.
Didn't de stink them entirely but made them cleaner

Yes. I have washed mine a few times. The ones I have don't have removable insoles.

Mine don't have removable insoles but have come up fine in the washing machine

Yes to washing, in one of those nylon laundry bags - mine had no insoles. They came up clean, but the smell did not disappear completely....this seems to be a real problem with Go Walk shoes after a while. It's a shame - they are so comfortable!
