help for frazzled overdyed straw like hair

well, i appear to have knacked my hair......

its been coping platinum blonde for a few years, and I've loved it having more character than my natural dark brown, however in some bizarre fit of impulsivity after becoming obsessed over jamie alexander I dyed my hair dark brown at home adamant I would morph into her if only our hair was the same colour Grin

needless to say i still look like me just with muddy brown, crunchy, breaking, unstylable hair Sad

determinedly sitting on my hands not to hack at it or whack the peroxide on

i'd love to not care and just shave it off, however, its my wedding party in 2 weeks and im desperate to somehow have it look nice

i've spoken briefly to my hairdresser who advised just trying to leave it alone and that she would trim it and put a glossy semi colour on for me as close to the party as poss,

my questions are....in the meantime does anyone have any miracle treatments they can suggest, i'll happily blow £30 on some conditioner but would like to know its the right stuff, i'm not blow drying it or even shampooing it as its so dry, so its just slicked back with conditioner every day but only a cheapy at the min....any recommendations for magical products???

annnd its already pixie short so.. any recommendation for super short cuts that look feminine, im thinking short sides and trying to salvage a bit of fringe, my hairs naturally poker straight and i'm not the greatest at styling it, so anything that works with those issues.... i'm thinking anne hathaway, but would LOVE any suggestions

if it all goes tits up im sure i'll just get plastered and dig out out the fuscia pink fancy dress wig at the back of my wardrobe (and then sob over the photos for years to come)

ah its only hair though after all (and repeat ad infinitum)

Oo olaplex, I'll check it out, and as for going too Gwen Stefani, no such thing! (probably how I ended up in this state!)
I'll check back in later today with the products that have arrived as I'll no doubt need a bit of advice re which to use when.
I'll do some before and after pics, too ashamed for before right now but hoping to post a dramatic transformation in fortnight Grin

sign that's exactly the one I take! The reviews for biotin all over the net are fantastic.
I also take silica (nature's best 200mg) & my hair and nails are strong and healthy.
I'm very fine haired, and haven't noticed thicker eyebrows /eyelashes - but can't be too greedy Grin

I deep condition once a week with a heat cap , using protein (Aphogee, tresemme keratin mask among others) one week and a nourishing conditioner the next.
I also sleep overnight with coconut oil on dry hair, the night before I wash my hair.

I really believe that you can apply what you want to your hair, but you need to double treat from inside for the best results.
