It never seemed to be an issue until the last 2-3 years, but these days most tops hardly seem to come past my waist. Speaking as one of larger proportions who needs a bit of hip coverage , it's all really frustrating!
I see lots of other women in the same boat, too. Every time we bend down, we flash a strip of bare back and maybe even an inch or two of knicker . The latter is even more likely when we're stuffed into a pair of the omnipresent low-rise jeans.
Are we doomed to be the generation of women who have to pull down their tops and pull up their jeans after we bend down to do something with the kids? Everywhere I go, we're all at it! What's going on? Does anyone make clothes that fit without leaving a big gap in the middle?!
Or is it just me...
