I want some new good ones and don't mind spending the money to get some. I'd heard abot GHD being the best so went to Boots to get some...and none there.
Are they a brand or a generic type?
Where do I get them?
Are they really worth it, or anything else just as good?

You need to get them at a Salon Services shop or perhaps hairdresses can get them for you or online.

Good luck. I love my GHD's

SmileysPeople · 17/01/2007 10:51

Oh damn. I wanted them for Friday. Should I wait or rashly buy some not as good...?

House of Fraser sell them, and loads of hairdressers do too.

I got mine online ,24hr delivery and free ghd products . If you google them you will find loads of suppliers.

Dont get a cheaper pair ,it really is a waste of money!

SmileysPeople · 17/01/2007 11:20

Ok I've found a sight online to order with 24hr delivery. Should I go for mk4 or mk3, or the mini ones??
Whatja think?

Dont know .Does it depend on your hair type ?

Mine are model no. ghd 3.1 B and they are great on my coarse and frizzy curls.

SmileysPeople · 17/01/2007 11:28

My hair is shoulder length and just knid of kinky, not actually curly.
I think i may go for mk3.

DD wanted GHD, was reccomended SHE, then I saw titanium ones for 9.99 by JML she bought them and everyone asked if she had GHDs her hair is so straight!! and lasts

TisMeMellowma · 17/01/2007 11:32

I have the mark 3 ones. They are good, my hair is quite thick so cheap straightners tend to make it frizzy, these make it smooth and sleek!

SmileysPeople · 17/01/2007 11:54

have done it. Ordered Mk3 GHD ones from Beuaty sleuth, with next day delivery.

Just have to explain to DH now why they are worth the money.

Thanks for your help.
