Hordes of m'netters trawling the supermarket aisles tomorrow with enough eye makeup on to scare a small child!

Laura Mercier Lavnder mist is good for a day time softer smoky look with a brown gently smudged eyeline.

Ooh fab thread!

Am going to a dinner dance next week - have a bright green dress and 'gunmetal' shoes and handbag. Shall I go for grey smoky eyes or green?

Have dark blonde hair, greeny grey eyes and will have a tan.

bakedpotato · 16/01/2007 13:42

Have just done two rather smudgy/messy trial runs, but before Annie's tip about 'setting' with foundation (did I understand that right?).

Am contemplating it for an afternoon winter wedding, I'll probably cry loads, so should probably save it for another event. But I think I have the hang of it now.
