agree with the confidence thing....DH is quite arty, wears quite unusual & interesting clothes quite a lot and accessories, so he can carry off a man bag ! wear it with confidence i say!!

Katymac · 16/01/2007 15:31

Hmmm - I have a better idea now I think

smaller than a briefcase - but quite big really

I really like the one that is from JL it's lovely (but not £129 worth of lovely)

But I think I know where I am going now

Thanks everyone

I told my husband I would get him one to wear.

He said, 'Would I fuck!'

twelveyeargap · 16/01/2007 15:35

I bought DH a beige fabric satchel/ messenger bag in Gap ages ago. He laughed when I brought it home and said he'd never use it. Now I find it hard to get off him wash it!

Definitely trendy, though correct that the eeny ones (like the one that orange bloke had in Bridget Jones) - they are just too like women's bags.

Fimbo · 16/01/2007 15:36

That would be my dh's reaction too EPIS.

BigBellyCornflakeKid · 16/01/2007 15:36

My dh asked for one to keep lunch, ipod, books etc in when he goes to work - he wanted one from Fat Face - but I gave him my Onelife one and he seems happy with it!

BigBellyCornflakeKid · 16/01/2007 15:36

Its a messenger bag by the way not changing bag LOL

expatinscotland · 16/01/2007 15:37

Fimbo
I also got him a card to commemorate the 300th anniversay of the Union treaty.

He's gonna SO love that!

Haaahaahaaahaaa.

dh has a do-it-yourself bag- the side pocket of an old rucksack, whick he has strung onto a length of webbing, as a kind of bumbag. It looks OK,not stylish, but not naff/ girly either

Pablothelittleredfox · 16/01/2007 15:44

I bought one for dh a few years ago but it just wasnt' him and he's barely used it. He'd rather stuff his pockets.

He has no style.

Oati · 16/01/2007 15:54

dh would rather stuff his stuff in my handbag - and make me carry it

itsmeNDP · 16/01/2007 15:57

My DH wouldn't have one. The closest he gets to a ManBag is a Tory-boy briefcase.

expatinscotland · 16/01/2007 16:01

DH just uses pockets or carries stuff in his hands.
