My NY resolution was too take better care of my skin. I have noticed a real difference and I don't know if it because I was so slap dash before or teh products I am using but I going to keep it up.

Morning:

Olay UV daycream
Olay eye cream
No7 colour balance
No7 pretend touche eclait (if I ever get the hang of it!)

Evening:

Take it off with one of those 3 in 1 wipes
Splash with water
Olay night cream (total effects)
Olay eye cream

Weekly or whenever:

Exfoliate - Olay total effects
Layer of Elizabeth Arden 8hr cream (don't know what it is for - but this is as good as any - better ideas appreciated!!)
No7 face mask - moisturising

Lying inteh cupboard not sure what to do with:

creme de la mer so expensive I don't want to waste it so never use it!
No7 pretend beauty balm flash - is it a moisturiser, a foundation, what???
No7 pretend touche eclait - if I have had enough of shiny under eyes I give up for a bit.

What do you use and what do you just not know what to do with?

use the creme de la mer!!!! Talk about see a difference...

Usual routine is Eve Lom and CDLM...

Back of cupboard are toners, exfoliators (Eve Lom cloth does that!).. cellulite creams, throat cream, boob creams

Morning:
OIl of Olay total effects
Vaseline on lips

Evening:
make up off with 3 in 1 wipes
Oil of Olay again
Vaseline on lips and smear all over eye area. lids nad lashes and lips

Occasionally exfoliate, never use a mask.

Have nothing in my cupboard that I don't know what to do with. Am quite tempted to buy this Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream though.....

I'm astonished that you are using olay in preference to creme de la mer!

What is creme de la mer like ?

I am currently using up some decleor neroil oil, vitaromalift cream, and balm essential night balm. Am bored stiff of it.

DimpledThighs · 15/01/2007 19:37

that's the thing I am terrified of teh creme de la mer - DH bought it for me one birthday and I use it every so often but the fact that is a million pounds a tub makes me think I need to have a top of the range set of toners, exfoliators, cleansers etc to truely reap the benefits.

evening - nowt

morning - eve lom cleanser/scrub thing taken off with muslin followed by eve lom moisturiser

early days of using the products so yet to know whether they're worth the extreme £££££

DimpledThighs · 15/01/2007 19:39

it is lovely though - it kind of warms as you put it on and turns from a thick cream into a milk that absorbs beautifully into your skin. afterwards your skin has a kind of sheen/glow and it feels very soft - a bit like after clinque turn around but not as harsh.

makeup stays on (if I'm wearing it) until the next morning

northerner · 15/01/2007 19:58

LTH are you still here?

Bucketsofdynomite · 15/01/2007 21:01

A cleansing wipe in the morning followed by a light moisturiser in winter or suncream in the summer.
Poss bath in the evening followed by moisturiser.
I have half a sachet of facepack on my bathroom shelf from 2 months ago - must use it or chuck it out!

Evening: Clarins make up remover and toner, and Lancome eye make up remover. Clarins night cream, Lancome under eye cream.

Morning: Clarins toner, Revitalift moisturiser, tinted moisturiser, Benetint blusher, Touch Eclat, Lancome mascara, Clinique eye shadow and lipstick. Or sometimes don't bother with make-up, or don't put it on until I get to work.

Exfoliate once or twice a week.

Never bother with beauty flash balm any more.

DimpledThighs · 15/01/2007 21:14

dinasour - what do you do with touch eclait? I cannot get the hang of it!

OP posts:
Dinosaur · 15/01/2007 21:15

I put eye-cream or similar on first, then put a bit underneath each eye and blend it in.

Pablothelittleredfox · 16/01/2007 13:24

At night: Lancome 3 in 1 toner and make up remover (and something else obviously but not sure what!) then Estee Lauder foaming splash thingy (face wash!). Then put on Estee Lauder night repair on face and eye repair on eyes.

Morning: Just splash water on face in the shower then put on Estee Lauder moisturiser before putting make up on.
