That will save time looking in the mirror.

Have you seen levis wedgie jeans? It seems knickers riding up bum is also a thing now Hmm

ZaZathecat · 18/05/2016 17:15

Really? They actually call them that? It's hard to think of anything more ridiculous to make into a fashion trend that hasn't already been done. Maybe visible sanpro...

Just had a look at those wedgie jeans and I'm mildly disappointed. They're really just the ultra tight, do-them-up-with'a-coat-hanger jeans of tge 70s.

In the eighties I had a pair of black jeans that were so tight my mate had to sew me into them. I honestly can't remember what I did when I needed the loo. Probably best not to think about it. Grin

I love stuff like that. I have several Vivienne Westwood skirts, and often get asked if I've got my skirt tucked up. A nice lady chased me down the street once, very concerned for me.

OMG, 80s jeans (I was a size 8 ) there was no Elastene in jeans, it was proper lie on the floor with a coathanger then gingerly get vertical.

And my hip bones skin went numb Shock goodness knows what it did to my insides.

I quite like the pink dress though................................... Blush

PestilentialCat · 18/05/2016 18:37

I like the dress too - wonder if it comes in turquoise

PestilentialCat · 18/05/2016 18:38

I also remember 80s jeans - I used to have bruises over my hip bones & had to drag myself to pieces of furniture in order to stand up Hmm

PetrolBastard · 18/05/2016 18:39

Is that an All Saints dress? Because I am pretty sure I have it in black.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/05/2016 18:41

I saw someone with a similar dress yesterday- worse than the pic, quite bizarre, I did a double take Grin

Floisme · 18/05/2016 18:45

I like it too.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/05/2016 18:46

The one I saw came between the legs like a nappy, most bizarre!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/05/2016 18:58

Pest

I saw this recently. Very nice!

PestilentialCat · 18/05/2016 23:07

Very nice indeed - thanks Smile

I blame jerry hall

DriveMeToTennessee · 18/05/2016 23:35

Omg bruises from wearing jeans?!! I can't stand it if my belt digs in a bit, never mind bruises!

PestilentialCat · 19/05/2016 07:06

Yes, bruises! 100% cotton only in those days & when freshly-washed they would be as stiff as a board & very, very tight! Skin-tight "drainpipes" & 4" heels - it's a wonder I could walk about at all Grin
