Sandal recommendations - to last 4 days walking and not shred my feet in the process?

So DH and I are off the F1 at Silverstone in July for the first time. There is going to be a LOT of walking over the 4 days. Obviously if the weather is really crap I'll have on wellies, but if it's baking hot I don't really want to be in converse (or the like).

Does anyone know of a decent sandal that would:

  1. look nice i.e. not orthopaedic
  2. be comfortable for loads of walking and
  3. not shred my feet after the first day?

Does such a holy grail exist??

I love Strive sandals.
The only sandals I have ever been able to wear without breaking in to avoid rubs and blisters.
You DO need to get used to them over about 3 days as they have a very pronounced arch support

Fitflops.

I walked from one end of Marrakech to the other over a few days, no pain at all.

Spoilt for choice with styles too.

I've just brought a pair of Penelope Chilvers wedge espadrilles, stylish and amazingly comfy - worn them to work all last week!
