Will it look good, ok or naff. Posted yesterday Sage green dress with pale gold bridesmaid dresses. Sorry wedding is on the cheap and I really do need some help - it's in 2 months so you won't hve to put up with helping me too long!

or has that got too much green against a green dress?

Hope this won't offend but I would rather have no flowers than artificial ones.

Can you buy flowers from local florists, not mentioning the W word and make your own, or get an elderly female relly to do it for you? You could just get some simple roses or something for the bride.

brandy7 · 12/01/2007 13:22

lovely

weepootleflump · 12/01/2007 13:22

just wondering whether they'll clash a bit with gold dresses? Are cream bouquets a no-go?

marymillington · 12/01/2007 13:22

good colours though

BuffysMum · 12/01/2007 13:23

I have allergies and believe me real flowers are so much more expensive, no-one is helping me and it would be another thing to do on the day as well as look after our 4 children.......

Perhaps mixed for me and just cream for the bridesmaids?

2nd link

marymillington · 12/01/2007 13:29

well in that case, i prefer the first one, the posy. lovely warm colour and keeps it simple

poppynic · 12/01/2007 13:30

I think your first choice can only look very elegant.

And agree that it is most important that you cut the fuss to a minimum so picking up fresh flowers at the last min, not to mention possible allergic reactions, sounds like great things to avoid.
