OK my boobs are huge (38H) and i am really struggling to find anywhere that i can get some nice new bras from, M&S and Debenhams dont go big enough. Does anyone know where i can get some nice ones without breaking the bank.

TIA

Bravissimo - not sure how much think probably about £25 hth

TheBlonde · 09/01/2007 19:03

figleaves may have some - if you google you can usually find some discount links

wurlywurly · 09/01/2007 19:04

brimfull · 09/01/2007 19:24

this one is nice and reduced!

Fantasie bras are great for big boobs.Def worth the money.

wurlywurly · 09/01/2007 19:32

i dont mind paying a bit extra for it if i have to just get bit fed up when people can get bargain basement ones in primark for £1.

loads on ebay (well, there are in my size, 36g).

Munz · 09/01/2007 19:34

have you tried contessa? mine are E's, althou I was really and to learn after i'd paid out £45 for 2 (a triump and ballet) that they had an offer on 2 for £20 in the bigger sizes the same day - I asked the lady as well to measure me and everything.

wish I could still go to the £10 rails.

SturdyAngel · 09/01/2007 19:35

Bravissimo are fab!!! If you can get to a shop, do, as their measuring service is wonderful. They stock afew brands, Freya which are OK (not great for me but sis loves them) and Kalyani which are a bit more expensive but gorgeous! Think they do some other but can remember which! Check out their website here

Dottydot · 09/01/2007 19:50

Another vote for Bravissimo - they sort out my 36Gs no problem...! If you can get to a branch to get measured it's well worth it.

USAUKMum · 09/01/2007 19:59

Bravissimo or get thee to a John Lewis, they can fit any size (having been everything from a 34GG - 38 H )

treacletart · 09/01/2007 20:18

Another vote for Bravissimo but I also urge you to get properly measured at Rigby and Peller. In my experience their measuring is far more accurate than even bravissimo and streets ahead of M&S or Debenhmas. brasstop are good for bargains too

wurlywurly · 09/01/2007 21:03

treacle would love to go to rigby & peller but fear i would spend a fortune, but deffo have to be measured properly, have always just gone for what fits best.

Totally sympathise, have ridiculous boobs myself - 38J at their largest, now 32GG after losing some weight. I now buy bras from figleaves - tend to order six or seven and then send back the ones that don't fit as different brands/styles vary so much when allegedly the same size. Returns are free and the money is refunded back quite swiftly. They have a sale on which I am trying to stay away from as I have a silly amount of bras now that I have found somewhere to get ones that actually fit. Link below.

figleaves

fizzbuzz · 09/01/2007 21:55

Yes, Bravissimo is best..completely freak size 32H, how freaky is that! Only Bravissimo appears to be able to control the sods.....

Oh for 2 fried eggs

treacletart · 09/01/2007 22:28

I managed to get measured in R&P without spending a penny . I just muttered something about £75 being more than I had budgeted for and having to think about it. I got them to right down the model number for me so it looked like there might be a chance Id come back, but I knew I could never spend that on a single bra. If I had the cash mind you, they were lovely in Rigby and Peller, I'd expected them to be supersnooty, but i'd buy all my underwear there if I could.

treacletart · 09/01/2007 22:31

Hey fizzbuzzz, snap! im a 32H too I'm sure we'd feel less freaky if more women realised they were wearing the wrong size and M&S finally strated selling proper fitting bras to meet the demand

bobsmum · 09/01/2007 22:33

Treacletart - bravissimo have an R&B bra in their sale atm. Just got their catalogue through.

3Ddonut · 09/01/2007 22:34

have you tried googling your size and seeing what comes up (sorry, no pun intended )

wurlywurly · 10/01/2007 09:53

will google it will probably give me some dodgy porn site tho. lol

john lewis also carry big sizes i got my 36 l from there

Budababe · 10/01/2007 10:36

Another vote for Rigby & Peller here. I went in December having been uncomfortably wearing 46C/48B as measured in Evans - it turns out I am a 40E!!!!!!!!

The brand that I bought from them is called Prima Donna and it was about 40 pounds per bra - I bought 4 with matching pants. Was so chuffed to be able to get NICE bras I went a bit mad!

DH did raise his eyebrows at me spending almost 400 pounds on underwear but as I pointed out it would usually cost a lot more to go from a B to an E cup!!!

(Am also handwashing them to make them last longer!!)

wurlywurly · 10/01/2007 10:47

OMG £400 on underwear surely thats illegal. lol

OP posts:
wurlywurly · 10/01/2007 10:48

i'm sure evans and m&s measure you wrong so that you do buy bras from them rather then go elsewhere

dressedupnowheretogo · 10/01/2007 10:53

ooooh prima donna they are beautiful
