i realy don't have time to wax anymore.
since i had my baby i shaved using my hubby's razers.i don't feel smooth anymore.
i tried some wierd mats from superdrug.they are owful.

hair removal cream can be done same time as ironing, dusting etc

basboseh · 09/01/2007 18:46

do you know if it's effective on dark thick hair? and quick as well?

basboseh · 09/01/2007 19:14

when do hair come back after shaving with a cream?
will i be shaving every two days?
will it cost me a fortune to use cream?

mine grows back after about 5 days, but slowly and softer than before, and not so dark looking.

the big tubes cost around £3(sometimes they are on offer) and that does my whole legs (toe to top-and theyre 34inches long)about 3 times, so about £3 a fortnight.

i find that alot easier than bloody shaving!

scorpio1 · 09/01/2007 21:19

oh and it takes about ten mins

JackieNo · 09/01/2007 21:23

Sorry, no help on the hair removal, but just wanted to say, Scorpio - ironing?? Dusting??. When you could be on Mumsnet?

morningpaper · 09/01/2007 21:25

It gets easier when they get older

All new mums have terrifying body hair

Eventually you will get evenings back or baby will potter in the bathroom or sit in his chair and watch you while you witter on with amusing songs etc. while you get zippy with the razors

scorpio1 · 09/01/2007 21:32

well what can i say,im a clean freak!feel a little addicted to MN actually . . .

JackieNo · 09/01/2007 21:39

. You're not alone there.

Eve · 09/01/2007 21:41

...really highly recommend the new lady razors that have the soap built in.

Fab...

take your baby with you and go and get waxed!!!!! Ok, OK - I'm a beauty therapist, so I do get to do my own when baby is asleep. But wax - I started shaving for a bit after baby was born as I couldn't be bothered to wax. WRONG!!!! hairs are never ever the same as when you wax!!!!!!!
