Anyone found any great foundations recently?

I've finished a bottle of Lancome Photogenic, which I really liked. I've used Chanel Vitalumiere before which I also really liked (using the Aqua version as a tinted moisturiser for daily use right now).

Anyone tried anything recently they have LOVED? Preferably available at John Lewis as I'm heading there on Monday.

I've never tried Bobbi Brown stuff but like their other items generally.

YSL Touché Eclat- the new one. Lovely coverage, lasts pretty well & is a little glowy but not OTT. I have dry skin

Armani Luminous Silk.

Adore it, great coverage and makes me look really healthy and like a better version of me IYSWIM.

Also have dry skin and it doesn't go patchy. Also little goes a long way. Bought my bottle in September, worn every other/three days and still got a good two thirds left.

Another vote for Fusion Ink. Feels very lightweight and is great on my combination skin type.

Going to try les beiges. Thanks all.

Have to confess with shocking skin as a teen (cue roaccutane on hospital prescription - now banned!) then still oily, now aged 41 - have tried just about EVERYTHING and I swear by........
Dior Star - AMAZING - not only is it the perfect match - they have a gadget which I viewed with supreme suspicion - which they point in a pseudo scientific way at your face. BUT boy does it work - a professional make up artist who was flogging her own products at an event actually asked me what it was and added ' It is perfect, literally never change it'.
SO promise I am not on commission, but GET IT.
Great stuff, lasts, glowy, erases all sorts of evils and I even smear it over and around my eyes - beats just about every concealer i've tried, but you end up with VERY natural looking skin.

I like Estee Lauder double wear...but only because it stays on! Everything else seems to slide off somewhat by th e end of my working day and I am not a sweaty person at all, nor would I say I have particulary oily skin! Doesn't give me skin beak outs either.
Always open to suggestions for make up tho, am a total make up tart!

L'Oreal Infallible 24h Matte (paired with the Infallible Matte primer) and Estée Lauder Double Wear! I do like MAC Studio Fix Fluid too.

I always go back to Laura Mercier tinted mositurisers - the radiance one is lovely. And more coverage than most tinted moisturisers. Pricey but always finish it (unlike others)

No7 lift and luminate - serum, moisturiser and foundation - I find beige is a perfect match for me. Goes on easy looks natural and long wearing plus it's meant to contain all the supposedly anti aging components in the serum so I'm getting younger while I wear it.

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 20/04/2016 19:25

Urban Decay Naked Skin for me too. It's very watery and feels like it should be very sheer, but it's not. I love it.

WeDoNotTalktoPennilynLott · 20/04/2016 19:47

Estee Lauder Double Wear for me. When I use Lancome or Dior I don't feel I look as nice so go back to ELDW

CoolToned · 21/04/2016 01:01

Bourjois City Radiance. I find this very similar to Chanel Les Beiges. Even the smells are similar.

kissmelittleass · 21/04/2016 01:27

Mac studio fix is the only foundation for me it stays on and never cakes or goes patchy.

DarkBlueEyes · 21/04/2016 16:36

CoolToned I will definitely check that out as I really like the Les Beiges. Thank you!

In my kit (im a mua)
I have
mac studio fix
Kryolan tv paint sticks
And loreal true match and infallible foundations

but 1 in darker colour to use for contouring hope that helps

Arecla · 21/04/2016 18:23

Rimmel foundation, ivory, is the best for me. It is affordable and lasts all day and it spreads easily & evenly. As a moisturiser I use a few drops of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It works wonders and it's natural, no added chemicals, perfect for sensitive skin. I have used nothing else for many years.

CoolToned · 21/04/2016 22:56

DarkBlueEyes - it's like the twin of Chanel Les Beiges, with probably just very slight differences. And for the price, definitely a good buy. I actually prefer this to Les Beiges for everyday.
