Following on from the comfortable sandals thread:

Is it possible to buy a pair of shoes that is:

Basically like a trainer BUT either ballet shoe shaped or at least just slip on? So basically trainers but that only cover a bit of the foot so won't be as hot as normal trainers in summer.

NOT Skechers. Not the ballerina Converse, as they are not padded enough. Must be plain black or grey, and not have a big white sole.

I've tried searching but don't really know what to search for!

Lands end are only online, but their stuff wears well and they are good at exchange/refunds.

Sorry we have a Timberland outlet not far away so guessing they were previous season. These were very reasonable (about £30??)

Regatta these are

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/04/2016 18:27

Thanks again.

Am going to start by trying the Skechers ones with an insole. If I have to have ugly shoes, I'd prefer them to be cheap ugly shoes! :)

Fitflop f-pop ballerinas are super comfy and not completely unstylish either - I've had lots of compliments on mine m.fitflop.co.uk/en/womens/shoes-and-clogs/f-pop%26trade%3B-leather-ballerinas%2C-black-%7C-fitflop%26trade%3B-uk/883945556470.html

Just the ballet shoe bit?

MissWimpyDimple · 16/04/2016 22:22

Air & Grace seem to fit that bill

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/04/2016 18:43

Thanks for all of these. I do want to be able to buy in a real shop though.

The Fitflops look worth a shot, although I have a feeling they might be too wide.
