Retro I am afraid I really should have held on to my mums dresses.

Blondilocks · 08/01/2007 22:09

I like the sequin band dress!

I have the same question - tried on a size 10 jacket the other day (didn't expect it to fit but was the last black one of a certain style in the sale) & it was MASSIVE - there was at least an extra handspan of material on each side so I'm sure that the wrong size had been sewn on (esp as the size 12 is too small!)

HonorMatopoeia · 08/01/2007 22:10

I like half of those . . . .

ledodgy · 08/01/2007 22:11

I like alot of them too!

purplemonkeywishdasher · 08/01/2007 22:12

ledodgy · 08/01/2007 22:14

No with those contrasting colours but if it was all black i'd like it.

IdrisTheDragon · 08/01/2007 22:15

Just not quite right are they?Dodgy colour combinations and cheap looking imo. Think DP tries to be a n older version of Topshop, but doesn't work I don't think.
However,Marie Claire magazine have voted them shop of the month! Very often the clothes you see in magazines bear no resemblence to what you get in the shops!

MrsBadger · 09/01/2007 08:37

I am near two DPs - one is full of ghastly minging things and bobbly jumpers and the other has all the cool things you see in the mags - don't know why... maybe they have different ranges for Local stores and Stylish City stores.

brimfull · 09/01/2007 08:40

All I ever see in the DP locally is jumpers in a 1000 different colours.

purplemonkeywishdasher · 09/01/2007 16:28

the jumpers they sell always remind me of children's tv presenters.

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 09/01/2007 22:36

there are a few bits that are ok but on the whole it is all badly made from cheap material, not cut to flatter and won't last more than a few washes.
