Where to find a new 'natural' look that is not frightening

It has been a long time since I really bothered with makeup, and I want to refresh my look. But, a search of YouTube has frightened me somewhat. I want to revisit how to create a gently enhanced version of myself, not create super heavy eyebrows and contours.

Can anyone give me their tips for a clearly out of fashion 'natural' look, or point me in general direction of this?

Actually the 'natural' look is very much on the up again though it now seems to involve a shit ton of product. You'll have more luck with the professional makeup artists than the girls in their bedrooms. Try Lisa Elridge and Monika Blunder on youtube. I like Mary Greenwell too but she doesn't have her own channel and some is only with Chanel products but it's all good for inspiration.

Oh thanks botemp, Lisa Eldridge is definitely much more what I had in mind.

Lisa is fab and there are loads of videos to watch. I would also really recommend the bobbi Brown counter, they specialise in the natural look and will happily give you advice. You can take note of what they do and buy cheaper alternatives if you're on a budget?

i am happy to spend a reasonable amount on good products, but I do have quite sensitive/very dry prone skin, which doesn't necessarily like everything I throw at it, so I need to be a bit cautious. Will have a look at Bobbi Brown, thank you.
