Have you ever told anybody IRL they needed a bra intervention?

Obviously I wouldn't ever do it... But there's a girl at work who every time I see my head just screams 'bra intervention, now!'.

Only if they have brought the topic up, i.e. complaining about their bra not fitting right.
I know what you mean though, I know someone with such ill fitting bras that the band is near enough in line with the top of her shoulders.

Yes, as SewButtons has said. An Anerican friend is particularly grateful.

SorrelForbes · 09/04/2016 12:00

Unsurprisingly, yes Blush. All good friends though and done in a very jokey way. I have also accosted people in M&S and gently suggested that the bras they are about to try are completely the wrong size.

LaurieLemons · 09/04/2016 12:07

Yeah but only friends. While you're at work you could say your going to get a bra fitting at the weekend and see what she says, she probably hasn't had one!

BubsAndMoo · 09/04/2016 12:14

Not directly but I have gone on and on and on about my own bra self-intervention and it has spread amongst my colleagues Grin

Floisme · 09/04/2016 12:16

My friend did it to me and I love her for it.

SexNamesRFab · 09/04/2016 13:10

I would if she were a friend, but she's a new colleague and we're not really close or friendly. It annoys me because she's v clever and serious but is a v curvy girl and wearing a way too small cup size under sheer shirts - So whenever I see her I just think boobs, boobs, boobs and more boobs. I probably need to get a life and stop noticing.

once you know, you cant un-know

so many badly fitting bras everywhere

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/04/2016 13:46

Absolutely not! How woman chose to wear their bras is none of my beeswax.

Floisme · 09/04/2016 14:10

Normally I'd agree with Dame but with a bra, it isn't necessarily about choice. - sometimes your boobs change and you're the last one to notice. That's what happened to me and I was really grateful to my friend. We were out trying on clothes at the time so it just came up naturally plus we have a pretty frank relationship anyway.

However if this woman isn't a friend and you don't normally talk clothes then I'm not sure how you can do it.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/04/2016 16:09

Just re read my post- typos galore, sorry!

Dungandbother · 09/04/2016 16:31

My whole sports team. Sports bra related and it went from there.
And my step sisters. And several friends. My aunt.

I always give them my bra to put on and they never believe me..... Then it's like OH NO WAY - I'M AN F CUP.
