Which brand for normal women with breasts? Not cos, or atterley or finery.

I am an awkward size just between 12 and 14 with boobs and hips. I basically wear dresses most days in the summer then spend the nine months of uk winter trying to find nice jumpers and wearing the same 3 till they bobble all over. I need stylish in between weather clothes.

Really struggle with most clothes being shown on extremely lanky flat chested women. Just browsed finery for first time and horrified by the weird skirts with dad flip flops.

Am not interested in pepperberry - mine are 34dd so don't need that. Not Great Plains, Boden a bit twee. No preppy stuff like j crew. Not fat face or white stuff.

What is a good mum fashion rather than high fashion brand? Not trendy just attractive??

Fcuk was ok last year but they seem to be following the high fashion trend now.

Very hard to find and involving lots of looking around.

I am a similar shape to you and like French Connection for tops.
Also shirt/blouse shape tops from Primark, either buttined or open over a vest top.

Also, I try to avoid high neck tops (which rules out most fashiony shops), and have just bough a couple of the Hush v neck tshirts, which are flattering and non-clingy.

God, I know what you mean. Me & Em keep sending me catalogues even though I asked them to stop and told them that judging by the models they use, the clothes are obviously not designed with me in mind. Their models are like reeds, a stiff wind and they'd blow over

I'm not much use to you, sorry - I've lost my way a bit with clothes over the last few years. I quite like Hush although baulk a bit at the prices.

How about Seasalt? Some of their stuff is, like Boden, a bit frumpy/twee but you can get some nice tops and dresses there, and unlike Boden their dresses don't have their waist just under your boobs. You sound like a similar shape to me and I've got a good few things from Seasalt that I like (currently wearing a Seasalt top with Paige jeans). Toast is also good though their sizing is a bit random.

I've recently bought a few tops from esprit, Vera moda and Saint Tropez. Not high fashion but not frumpy. I'm a 32f.

Same size (albeit pregnant). I find asos pretty good, warehouse, the odd thing I find on la redoute. Always struggle with shirts, but tend to go for the 14 and a 12 in anything without buttons. French connection used to be good, but I have really gone off their clothes, so not sure how the fit is now.

I quite like East for jersey dresses - good for an hourglass, nipped in nicely at the waist, v-necked but not so low you need a vest top underneath. And they do decent sales.

No idea what 'mum fashion' might mean.

I find separates easier than dresses. Whistles can sometimes be good - I have a v flattering jersey dress from them. Plain scoop neck t-shirts from H&M can be good, but you'll need to size up.

If you want to splash out on something special, Vivienne Westwood stuff is cut for boobs.

Lilly and me? They are nice quality, a shop near to me sells their stuff.

I have the same problem, I am a bosomy size 14 and can never find anything I like: everything in my size seems to be either sacklike, made of some mimsy printed cotton or 'vintage' themed. I have had a few lovely things from ASOS recently but it's a bit hit-and-miss. I'm having a dress made-to-measure for a wedding I'm going to this Summer... If only I could afford to do that for my daily wardrobe!

Remus - mum fashion -I am a mother who likes to look nice. High fashion involves: whit black navy blue, grey...I like to wear colours and patterns. Trendy style is shirts/ blouses under thin sweaters. I need stretchy washable non iron tops plus I have yet to find a white shirt that doesn't make me look boxy. I need to be able to put up my sleeves when I am cooking or doing dishes. I don't sit in front of computer all day so I want layers that fit nice,y under a coat. Boxy ribbed jumpers go all weird when you put a coat on over them. I want a shop where I want to try on lots of things instead of having to hunt down the odd practical thing. Do you feel me at all?

howtocatchastar how do you find stuff on asos? Doesn't take HOURS of scrolling? Every time I go on the site I feel like I am missing something. Like how to find a lot of nice things to look at, quickly. At first glance it all looks ridiculous but I know I must be wrong. How do you define yr searches? Because I just need some nice nice new tops for day And Eve but the tops section is obvs VAST.

Yes, it is extremely vast and can take a while! Too be honest though, it's probably luck, or I search for something specific and go hunting through the results. I also look underneath the item of clothing where it says 'other people viewed' - found some decent stuff that way. 'New in' is usually a good place to start I find :-)

The day/ night tops - are you looking for a particular colour/material? That might narrow it down a little, but I guess that's the benefit of the site too - the vast choice, overwhelming though!

Tu clothing by Sainsbury's is worth a look. Simple and good quality with some stylish pices. It's also pretty reasonable.

Phase Eight have had some good drapery tops in lately. I normally avoid that style in case it makes me look larger but these are well cut and flattering too (I'm a 38E) l.

Jaeger's casual stuff is very good. Lovely knitwear and good quality heavy jersey. Pricey but very frequent sales and a decent online outlet.

The trick with ASOS is judicious use of the filters!

Anyone found anything lovely to wear recently? I went to Zara last week, not my usual stomping ground, and was aghast at the number of face lifted lip plumped women who were shopping. It was Chelsea but it was also weird.
