Is there some magic way of getting rid of scars from old spots?

I used to have such lovely skin

When I was a teenager and right through my twenties I had a lovely complexion which I didn't appreciate

After having DCs and hitting mid 30s my skin is awful Sad My upper back is the worst. I've got so many scars which are discoloured. I'm already dreading the nice weather and trying to cover them up. I'm very self conscious.

How can I get rid of them or minimise it?

Hand Chemistry Retinoil supposedly for hands but can be used all over the body and face too. It's slow going but will over time diminish scars and improve skin (incorporate some exfoliation too). You must wear sunscreen though if using it, which is sensible anyhow.

That looks promising, thank you

I swear by Clarins repair concentrate from their sensitive skin range (used to be SOS serum). It's pricey but lasts for months on end because you only need one pump or half at a time. Bought it back in 1998 and wouldn't be without it. It's brilliant at helping those red marks fade.

rosehip oil is brilliant for scares

scars! not scares Blush

Not all of the marks are red. When I was pregnant with the last DC, I had really dark pigmentation including on my face. The worst spots on my back were then and they've left brown marks. It's horrible.

Dermaroller treatment is amazing for scars from breakouts. For skincare, retinol and aha's are what you need.
