I think she looks great but assumed her look is for a part she's playing? I like her hair, If I could guarantee I'd look like that if I let it go grey, I would when I'm nearer to 70.

So if -I- someone wanted to get rid of sagging jawline could -I- they have a lower face lift or does it have to be a full one?

iPaid · 02/04/2016 20:25

Well my lame attempt at wry use of strike outs failed there Blush

Yes, Floisme, I totally agree. I'm 60 in August and out of a group of friends garnered over the years Pancreatic cancer, MS and Stomach cancer have taken 4. It really is a case of Carpe Diem now and leather trousers etc. sound rather more fun than looking "elegant " in more "age appropriate" attrie from Hobbs and the like.
I have just bought some TopShop dungarees and I'm going to wear them.

""So if -I- someone wanted to get rid of sagging jawline could -I- they have a lower face lift or does it have to be a full one?""

You can get a lower lift, there are also threading procedures.

I'm thinking of getting threading, but I'm waiting to see what the new techniques look like a year later.

I agree about the health thing, I'm only 48, but I've had friends die of things that they wouldn't have, if they'd been younger and have friends who've had to have Mastectomy's and other surgery, also they are starting to be bothered by joint/arthritic problems. These are people who don't smoke and exercise.

I don't think that she looks good in the outfit, but she looks good because she's so happy.

Floisme · 03/04/2016 15:36

Yes I think, no matter how well you've looked after yourself, once you're into your 60s, you're playing the health lottery. I don't find that morbid - in fact it it helps me stay cheerful. Carpe Diem indeed.

And while I'm normally pretty careful what I wear, whenever I see an 'Am I too old for...?' thread, I kind of think 'Oh do fuck off' Grin

quirkychick · 03/04/2016 16:44

I agree about the "Am I too old for...?" threads. If it makes you happy and you look good in it, then go for it. Grin

But I quite like that aging rocker look. In fact, I have quite liked that rocker look since I was 15, so at least I'm consistent!

I was rather disappointed in her for the l'oreal ads, but she does look good there.
