Absolutely love the Gabor Indiana pumps, anybody seen anything similar but cheaper?

I don't know about cheaper but they are worth the money. I have had a two pairs over the last few years. I have worn them everyday in the summer. Very comfy and last really well. So glad they are still making them as could do with a new pair.

No stones. Thick soles and quite sturdy for ballet shoes - not like cheap ones I've had. Fine for walking around London or even on flat country paths. Great for everyday. Comfy but look 'tidy' as my mother would say.

Gabor are amazing quality. So comfy and they don't fall apart.

I have three pairs of their balerinas which feel like wearing trainers.

Agree with other posters that Gabor are decent quality though, and generally comfortable.

How are they at the heel? I bought a Clarks pair that felt comfy until I'd worn them for a while and my heel was red raw.

DM has these Gabor Ruffles in the taupe and they are "heaven" she reports. (She is late 60's with burgeoning bunion)

I am staring 40 in the face and considering a pair in the red as I'm sick of struggling with cheaper but more uncomfortable versions.

So I would say go for it - and either get the navy/tan or taupey ones depending on what you normally wear
