Lingerie plus size - do you? would you?

I wanted to buy some sexier nightwear etc and have put on some weight. I'm now a bit torn tho. The salesgirl seemed quite scathing and said they don't do 'those kinds of clothes in those sizes' .
Im embarrassed - is it not done? I'm a 16 maybe an 18 and definitely wobbly. I'm worried my ego couldn't take a look like that from my husband.

I think I've been a bit silly and let my insecurities get the better of me. Of course there's plenty in my size in lots of shops I was just taken aback.
