Is this the right place to ask for bag recommendations?

Both style and beauty are alien to me, so forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask. My "handbag" at the moment is a 10l biking backpack. If I take my camera out then I use a 20l hiking backpack, practical as I can zip a separator in and have camera in the top half, get everything else out from the access pocket in the bottom half. But...I'm a bit fed up of carrying an obviously hiking backpack around all the time, it's quite broad and triangular shaped (doesn't fit easily under a plane seat and we're doing an overnight trip in the summer). I want something that looks (more) like a normal bag!

I need to keep it backpack style. Have 2 DC, one with ASD, the other a tree climber so invariably need both hands free a lot of the time.

Look on asos and urban outfitters. Loads of smarter backpacks. Leather would be good but will be heavier of course. Go for canvas if you want it lighter. The longchamp backpack is really light but quite small.

A hiking backpack is certainly not a good look so hope you find something soon!

I've got a Cath Kidston backpack which I find useful for travelling whilst looking (sort of) stylish. Her prints are not to everyone's tastes though!
