Can anyone find me a bargainous wedding dress?

The mission if anyone choose to accept it is to find me a nice decent enough dress to get married in.

I'm a size 14, 5 ft 8, 36 DD , hourglass figure. 40 years old. 2nd Marriage. My best bits are ny waist and my calves/ankles. I do not want to show my knees and I can only wear smallish heels.

I do not want a traditional wedding dress but I have looked at;

Not cheap, but lovely, accommodate those generous of bust and lovely quality.

This is cute and very cheap! They have some lovely 50s style ones too bit they might be a bit too short for you. They also have a gorgeous 20s style bridal but its nearly £200. Good luck!

I have a similar figure and nice ankles so went for something similar.

All the dresses on the site are under £500 (not exactly bargainous, but good for bridal!)

There's a brand called Needle and Thread who do lovely sparkly and embroidered dresses. They've just started a bridal line; I'm not sure if something like this might suit?

Alternatively if you'd prefer something more structured Chi Chi (link to asos page, pink and white) do some nice stuff and it's very reasonable. Go up a size and use the rest of the budget to get it tailored. That will make any dress look 10x the price!

I have a gorgeous dress that I bought from here digforvictoryclothing.com at their brighton shop. I am a large 14, so found I was between the 14 & 16, so the lovely owner took in a size 16 for me and it was a perfect fit! Mine is made from silk tie fabric and it's really well made!

Elsie's attic is always coming up on my FB feed and they have some pretty dresses at great prices and I'm always looking on linky bop but have never bought from there either!
