I am 30 and currently have bad cellulite. Is there anything I can do to reduce it?

Sad

I think you can improve the appearance - body brushing, fake tanning, moisturising - but it's actually very hard to get rid of, hence why you see "circle of shame" photos of super-skinny models with cellulite. I wouldn't waste my money on a specific anti-cellulite cream.

"you see very slim women with lots of cellulite, and much bigger women with none."

Yes, I think that's the hormonal aspect.

I've seem some rather skinny people with cellulite...

Massage is the only way from my experience. I had great results with vacuum cup massage. Tried it at home after reading some raving reviews on forums and it worked - much smoother skin, both visibly and to the touch. I I started noticing results after 2-3 sessions.
Proper (safe) technique should be used: this massage may cause bruising if overdone; can't be done on varicose veins or on a stomach area.

Here's a demo to give you an idea

Vacuum massage is very common in Eastern Europe; the cups are sold in pharmacies and are very cheap, a couple of quid each. You should be able to find something similar on ebay or amazon.

I might try that cup thing. Would it work with an ordinary plastic cup?

Jeremyisahunt these are soft silicon cup, when you squeeze them and then apply to the skin they create a vacuum, basically like a suction cup. You may even see the skin is "sucked" into the cup slightly. Is is the suction that creates a strong massage effect.

I see some available on ebay here

Google cupping massage cellulite before and after to see more photos.

'cellulite' is beauty-babble for 'normal skin texture for some women'. Weight doesn't affect it, you see it on the malnourished models if the photoshopper cocks up.

the creams work as well as the stretch mark removers - i.e. in some women massage or time will shift it, in others it won't. No miracle cure.

in short - don't waste your time.

Special I think I needed to hear that.

Thank you!
