That dress is terrible for Apple shapes.

calistaraines · 15/03/2016 22:37

Empire dresses just make me look pregnant!!

Oh gosh, that's really sacky looking, does you no favours at all.
you need something a little shorter possibly, and more fitted to your figure.

Lovemylittlebears · 15/03/2016 22:44

You do not look pregnant and the maternity comment was just to be mean I'm sure...ignore it. You look lovely, but don't like the dress xx

EElisavetaOfBelsornia · 15/03/2016 22:51

It looks totally different in the two pictures Confused. I like it from the front, and looking black. The side picture looks grey. I think you're a 10 - 12 and have nice legs.

Trills · 15/03/2016 22:52

Are you really asking "flattering or not?" ?

Surely you can't be.

You mean "OMG this is the most unflattering dress in the world", don't you?

Sorry but I thought the OP did look pregnant in the first photo, my first thought was if she was then the dress was fine, but if not then no.

calistaraines · 15/03/2016 23:07

That's the thing whatever I wear I always look pregnant. I am not!
My 'baby ' is 7!!!!

I appreciate all your opinions.

How can I lose this tummy!!!!

I'm the owner of a fairly sizeable tummy and I tend to wear a lot of dresses which fit at my waist or underbust but then flair out. Anything which is tight under my stomach us ghastly whereas with a flared skirt it looks like skirt!

Fit and flare, skater dresses, fifties esque cuts work. There's a lot of shirt dresses about just now, some are ghastly as they're very fitted but there's some with a belted waist and then fairly full skirt which work for me

MissGintyMarlow · 16/03/2016 09:54

It's OK from the front, but nothing special, terrible sideways on.

I had a tummy throughout my twenties, lost it through weekly pilates - after dc1 the muscle memory meant it pinged back in about a week.

ALittleLemonTwist · 16/03/2016 20:11

im an apple and love a bit of draping on a dress like this hush dress
