Boden - nightmare service! No 10% MN discount??!!

Trying to order some stuff, spoken to very helpful guy but said he couldn't check order as site down, also that 10% discount via MN no longer valid (though nothing shows on this) also £10 discount from catalogue no longer valid.
They're going to try to call me late tomorrow but can't promise as they're so busy! WTF? Friendly enough guy, but I feel like they're doing me a favour here, not that I'm the customer whose order needs to be processed/honoured etc etc. Anyone else finding the same?

I don't think we get a 10% discount whilst the sale is on (annoyingly!)

oh, but where does it say that? couldn't see and placed order assuming there would be a discount. my mistake then, mabye?

I bought something in the sale - good bargain price but neither the discount nor the free P&P was on offer alongside the sale price.

Hi there, just to clarify, but our discounts don't apply during sale periods. This is all set out on the discount partners' page here - but to make life easier here's what it says: Boden - 10% off all non sale items, plus free postage and free returns - includes Boden for men and women and mini Boden too. This discount does not apply during Boden sales periods.

Oh right, thanks for clarifying. Maybe this should be highlighted on the MN shopping thread at this time of year then to avoid confusion?
